A casino licence number is the most checkable thing on a gambling site’s footer and the most widely misread. Our library holds licence rows for 100 brands and register lookups for all 100, and taken together they show precisely what such a number resolves to: a company, that company’s incorporation number, a grant date and a status, read on a stated day. What a casino licence number does not resolve to is a brand, a promise about payouts, or anything at all until you have asked a register and recorded the answer. This page walks through the two formats in our data, the six different answers one register gives, and the cases where two registers disagree about the same domain.
Two live formats, and four legacy ones

Claim the 150% bonusAcross our hundred records, two number formats dominate. The Curaçao Gaming Authority issues numbers of the shape OGL/2024/1307/0748: a prefix, a year, and two further groups. Thirty-seven records carry one. The Anjouan Gaming Board issues numbers of the shape ALSI-202508056-FI2: a prefix, a digit block, and an FI suffix. Twenty-five records carry one in the licence field, and 39 appear in the Anjouan public register.
We do not claim to know what the trailing groups encode in either format. The digit block in an Anjouan number frequently begins with the year of issue — ALSI-202509013-FI1 was issued in September 2025 — but not always: ALSI-152406029-FI2, ALSI-092404013-FI2, ALSI-112310012-FI5, ALSI-132405042-FI3 and ALSI-142311005-FI2 all start differently, and we have no document explaining the scheme. Guessing a structure from a sample is how confident nonsense gets printed, so the rule here is to quote the string and stop.
Alongside those, four older or unusual forms appear. LTC Casino’s record carries 8048/JAZ under the authority name Curaçao eGaming. Primedice carries the same string, 8048/JAZ, under the authority Government of Curaçao with the holder recorded as Antillephone. Bitdreams carries 8048/JAZ2019-015 under Antillephone N.V., with Hollycorn N.V. as holder. Rocketpot carries 1668/JAZ under Danneskjold Ventures B.V. Sportbet.one carries G20190045 under M.I.S.A., held by Reedll Limited. None of the five could be confirmed in the certificate portal, and our scoring treats a casino licence number of that kind as claimed rather than confirmed: 0.8 of the available 2.5 points.
What the certificate text actually asserts
When the Curaçao certificate portal recognises a domain, it returns a single sentence with a fixed shape. It certifies that the domain is operated by a named company, that the company is incorporated under the laws of Curaçao with a stated company number, that it is licensed to offer games of chance under a stated licence number, that the licence was granted on a stated date, and that its current status is whatever it is.
Read that list again and notice how much of it is about a company rather than a website. The strongest thing a casino licence number gives you is a corporate identity with a registration number attached. For 7bitcasino.com the answer is Scores55 Tech B.V., company number 162990, OGL/2024/1307/0748, granted 16 July 2024, Active. For roobet.com it is Raw Entertainment B.V., company number 157205, OGL/2024/687/0427, granted 31 July 2024, Active — and that case is worth pausing on, because the Roobet record in our operator library has a null licence field and the value none for whether the operator’s own pages could be read. The register knew more about that brand than the brand’s own site told us.
Note also what the certificate does not contain: no expiry date. On the Curaçao side there is a grant date and a status and nothing else in between, so the only way to know whether a status still holds is to ask again and record the new date. Ours were all asked on 26 August 2026, with Vave re-checked on 2 September.
Six answers one portal gives, and what each one means
Asking the same portal about a hundred domains produced six distinct kinds of reply. The distinctions matter, because four of the six are routinely reported as though they were the same thing.
- Certificate of Operation — 37 domains. The company, number, licence and grant date are all returned, status Active.
- Revoked — six domains, with the full certificate text intact. BC.Game under Small House B.V., Bets.io under Bets Entertainment N.V., Coinplay under Envision Digital N.V., and Betriot, Casinoly and Zet Casino all under Rabidi N.V. and the single number OGL/2023/103/0067, granted 5 February 2024.
- Not Active, removed from the registry — three domains: Gamdom, Lucky Block and Empire.io. The portal returns no company at all, only the removal.
- Certificate of Operation — Not Valid — twelve domains, among them Bitdreams, CoinPoker, Coins.Game, Flush, Rocketpot, FortuneJack, DuckDice, Wolf.bet, SolCasino, Betcoin.ag, BetPlays and Punt Casino. The text says the operator may have obtained a licence or may have been rejected, and that no entity is authorised until one is granted.
- Under Application Without Authorization to Operate — one domain, jacksclub.io, reported as operated by Jackfruit B.V., company number 157706, with an application submitted.
- Not found — 41 domains, including vave.com. This is the one most often misreported. It means the string was not in an index organised by domain, and nothing more.
Vave demonstrates the gap precisely. The portal returned nothing for vave.com, while the operator’s own record carries OGL/2024/1676/0905, holder Latcas B.V., status Active, issued 19 May 2025, read on 2 September 2026, because the certificate was found under a different domain string. A not-found is a fact about a lookup, not a verdict on an operator, and our register file says so in its own note.
A casino licence number can cover several brands at once
This is the misreading that does the most work in the market. A number is issued to a company, and a company can run many sites. In our register data, the same Curaçao licence number and company number cover:
| Licence number | Company, number | Brands |
|---|---|---|
| OGL/2024/1307/0748 | Scores55 Tech B.V., 162990 | 7Bit Casino, KatsuBet, Mirax |
| OGL/2024/1798/1048 | Santeda International B.V., 151296 | Rolletto, Goldenbet, Velobet |
| OGL/2023/103/0067 | Rabidi N.V., 151791 | Betriot, Casinoly, Zet Casino |
| OGL/2023/111/0069 | Moon Technologies B.V., 152185 | Bitcasino.io, Livecasino.io |
| OGL/2024/1267/0760 | Uno Digital Media B.V., 157147 | CryptoLeo, Nine Casino |
| OGL/2024/1800/1049 | Ryker B.V., 154186 | Jackbit, Freshbet |
The Anjouan side is the same story at larger scale: ALSI-202508056-FI2, held by Novatrix SRL, issued 25 August 2025 and expiring 24 August 2027, covers Oshi Casino, PlayAmo, Slotum, Winz.io and Bitkingz — five brands, one number. ALSI-202508047-FI2 under Sorta Group Limitada covers Fairspin and Weiss.
So a casino licence number in a footer tells you which corporate group you are dealing with, and a reader who checks it will often find sites they were treating as independent alternatives sitting under one line. The full mapping is set out in the holders standing behind several brands each.
When two registers answer differently about one domain
Nine domains in our set appear in both registers, and the pairs are not always consistent. Two are outright contradictions.
BC.Game’s Curaçao entry is Revoked, OGL/2023/118/0060 under Small House B.V. Its Anjouan entry is valid: ALSI-202410011-FI1 under Twocent Technology Limited, issued 2 October 2024, expiring 1 October 2026. Bets.io’s Curaçao entry is Revoked, OGL/2024/1178/0479 under Bets Entertainment N.V., while its Anjouan entry is valid: ALSI-202410047-FI2 under TESSERA LIMITED SRL, issued 18 October 2024.
The other seven pairs are dual holdings under different company names: Metaspins holds OGL/2024/1063/0437 under Metaspins N.V. and ALSI-202606048-FI2 under 3-102-959384 SRL. Roobet pairs Raw Entertainment B.V. with Ultima Spins Ltd. Thrill pairs Gravity Unleashed B.V. with Gravity Unleashed Limitada. Thunderpick pairs Paloma Media B.V. with Napier Ltd. TrustDice pairs Satoshi Gaming Group N.V. with Satoshi Labs Ltd. Wild.io pairs Nonce Gaming B.V. with Stack Gaming Ltd. Playbet.io pairs Bitx Operations N.V. with Aurevia Digital Ventures Ltd.
Reading one register is therefore not the same as checking a casino licence number. A single lookup can return a revocation while a second returns a valid term, and both answers are true of the same domain on the same day. Our scoring resolves this conservatively: five records score zero on the licence component with the note that the licence is revoked or removed, and the file marks them as not to be listed at all rather than ranking them low.
Only one side of the data carries an expiry
The Anjouan register returns an issue date and an expiry date. The Curaçao portal returns a grant date and a status. That asymmetry has a practical consequence: on the Anjouan side you can see a term run out, and on the Curaçao side you cannot.
Six Anjouan terms in our set carry an expiry date that has already passed relative to today: Empire.io on 27 May 2026, Gamdom on 29 June 2026, Chips.gg on 17 July 2026, Flush on 2 September 2026, and both 1xBit and DuckDice on 15 September 2026. We have not re-checked any of them since the register was read on 26 August 2026, and we say so rather than quietly dropping the rows. Flush’s record carries the position in its own status field, worded as a term ended on 2 September 2026 and not re-checked.
This is where a read date stops being bureaucratic detail. A casino licence number with a status and no date attached is an assertion about an unspecified moment, which is very close to no assertion at all. Every licence row on this site carries the day it was read for exactly that reason, and the ledger of clause readings works the same way: see the dated clause readings kept for each operator.
What the number is worth in our own arithmetic
The licence component is the heaviest in our scoring, at 2.5 points of ten, and it resolves into three outcomes. A number confirmed as current in a register takes the full 2.5. A number that appears only in the operator’s own footer takes 0.8, with the note that it is claimed but not confirmed — that applies to Bitdreams, Flush, LTC Casino, Rocketpot, Primedice, Wolf.bet and Sportbet.one. A number revoked or removed takes zero, and the record is refused a rating entirely.
Thirty-two records have no licence note at all, which means we found neither a claim nor a register entry to score. That is the largest single group, and it is the reason 48 records come back unrated with the reason that there are not enough verified facts.
It is worth spelling out why the licence carries more weight here than anything else on the scorecard. It is the only component whose source is not the operator. A verification clause, a coin list and a country list all come from pages the operator wrote and can rewrite tonight; a register entry comes from the body that issued the permission, is indexed by domain or by number, and can be checked by a reader without our help. That independence is what the 2.5 points are paying for, not the mere existence of a licence.
The corollary is that a claimed number scores badly for a reason that has nothing to do with suspicion. A footer is a page. Until the string in it appears in a register lookup with a date, it is the operator describing itself, and our file grades it accordingly at 0.8.
The summary, then, is short. A casino licence number gives you a company and a company number, a grant or issue date, a status as of a stated day, and sometimes an expiry. It does not give you a brand, a payout promise or a guarantee that a second register agrees. And a number nobody has looked up is a decoration. What documents can be checked around it is covered in the terms this site reads for every brand, and the ranked records begin at licence rows under the top no KYC casinos.
